2. Educational Purpose

Active Violinist content and services are provided for educational and informational purposes in the context of music learning, instrumental technique, movement awareness, coordination, practice, performance, and artistry.

Information presented through the website, courses, videos, lessons, workshops, consultations, emails, or other communications is general educational information and is not individualized professional healthcare advice.

3. No Medical Advice or Healthcare Relationship

Active Violinist does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, physical therapy, occupational therapy, psychotherapy, or other healthcare services.

When Hannah Murray provides Active Violinist content, lessons, Timani or movement consultations, courses, workshops, or other services, she is providing music education and movement-informed instruction and is not acting as your physician, physical therapist, occupational therapist, psychologist, chiropractor, or other healthcare provider.

Nothing on this website or in an Active Violinist offering is intended to replace advice, diagnosis, treatment, or care from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional. Use of Active Violinist does not create a physician-patient, therapist-patient, or other healthcare-provider relationship.

Do not disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of information presented through Active Violinist. If you have pain, an injury, a medical condition, or questions about whether a movement or activity is appropriate for you, consult an appropriate qualified healthcare professional.

4. Physical Participation and Safety

Some Active Violinist lessons, courses, consultations, workshops, or educational materials may include movement, posture, coordination, breathing, or playing exercises.

Participate within your own abilities and use reasonable judgment. If an activity causes pain or other concerning symptoms, stop the activity and seek appropriate professional care when needed.

If you have an existing injury, medical condition, physical limitation, or other health concern that may affect participation, consult an appropriate qualified healthcare professional before beginning or continuing an activity.

5. No Guarantee of Results

Musical, technical, artistic, physical, and educational outcomes vary from person to person.

Active Violinist does not guarantee any particular result from use of the website, course materials, lessons, consultations, workshops, or other educational offerings.

6. Courses and Digital Content

Course materials and other digital resources are provided for the personal educational use of the purchaser or authorized participant.

Unless expressly permitted in writing, you may not reproduce, distribute, sell, publish, upload, share, sublicense, or commercially exploit course videos, written materials, exercises, downloads, graphics, or other proprietary content.

7. Subscriptions and Automatic Renewal

If an Active Violinist offering is sold as an automatically renewing subscription or continuous service, the applicable price, billing frequency, renewal terms, and cancellation method will be disclosed at or before checkout.

By enrolling in an automatically renewing offering, you authorize recurring charges according to the terms presented when you enroll until you cancel or the subscription otherwise ends.

Cancellation instructions will be provided through the applicable course, checkout, account, or payment platform. Nothing in these Terms limits any cancellation or renewal rights provided by applicable law.

8. Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds

Prices and payment terms are those displayed at the time of purchase or booking.

Courses, appointments, workshops, and other services may be processed or administered through third-party platforms. Their checkout, payment, cancellation, and technical terms may also apply.

Any refund, cancellation, rescheduling, or subscription policy shown at the time of purchase or booking will govern that transaction, subject to any rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

9. Private Sessions and Consultations

Appointments are subject to availability. Please provide accurate information when scheduling.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, follow the cancellation or rescheduling terms presented through the scheduling system or appointment confirmation.

Repeated missed appointments, inappropriate conduct, or misuse of the scheduling system may result in refusal of future bookings.

10. Minors

Where a lesson, course, consultation, workshop, or other service is provided to a minor, a parent or legal guardian is responsible for determining whether the offering is appropriate and for providing any consent required for the minor's participation.

If you purchase, schedule, or agree to these Terms on behalf of a minor, you represent that you are authorized to do so and accept these Terms on the minor's behalf.

Children under 13 should not submit personal information directly through the website without appropriate parent or guardian involvement. Additional information is provided in the Privacy Policy.

11. Workshops and Professional Collaborations

Terms for workshops, residencies, institutional programs, performances, or other professional collaborations may be governed by a separate written proposal, agreement, or contract.

If a separate written agreement conflicts with these website Terms, the separate agreement will control for that engagement.
