Anatomy-informed learning for violinists, violists, and teachers
Stop guessing at technique. Start understanding what your body is doing.
Unlock Your Authentic Artistry connects functional anatomy, Timani exercises, and instrument-specific pedagogy so you can make clearer physical choices—and let technique serve the music you actually want to create.
Your body is not an obstacle to overcome. It is part of your instrument.
The current state
More practice cannot solve a problem you cannot yet see.
You may know that something feels restricted, sounds inconsistent, or is difficult to explain to a student—but the familiar cues do not reveal what is actually happening.
The cues are too vague.
“Relax.” “Drop your shoulder.” “Keep your wrist straight.” You hear or use familiar instructions, but they do not explain which structures are involved or what functional change to make.
The change does not reliably transfer.
An adjustment may help briefly in an exercise or lesson, then disappear when the passage becomes faster, more expressive, or more demanding.
One cue cannot fit every body.
Teachers want to help individual students, but instrument traditions often emphasize what a position should look like rather than how that student can coordinate it.
What You’ll Learn
Build the skill to see, understand, and respond.
The curriculum progresses from foundational language and self-evaluation into the two areas that shape so much of violin and viola playing: the left hand and the bow arm.

The future state
What you are building is a more adaptable process.
This course is designed to improve the quality of the questions you ask, the details you observe, and the choices available to you.
Understand before you correct.
Use foundational anatomy to investigate what may be driving a technical challenge instead of immediately reaching for a generic cue.
Move with more options.
Explore targeted exercises and apply them to playing so that change is connected to actual musical demands.
Teach the person in front of you.
Develop sharper observational skills and more specific language for adapting ideas to individual violinists and violists.
Continued access
Keep the course and community after your first year.
Continued membership preserves access to the courses, community, updates, additions, Q&As, and the growing resource library.
Questions before enrolling

No. The curriculum is designed for violinists and violists as well as teachers. Players can apply the material to their own technique, while teachers can also use the pedagogy and observation components with students.
What happens in the complimentary private session?
You and Hannah will create a plan for your playing, explore your individual needs, and connect course ideas to your specific questions. The session is recorded and shared with you for future reference.
What is included in the community?
The community includes an international network of performers and teachers, discussion and support, musical and etude challenges, guest speakers, monthly Q&As, and a growing resource library.
How does access work after the first year?
Continued access is $10 per month, billed annually at $120, beginning one year after the initial purchase. It maintains access to the courses, community, updates, and additional resources. You can cancel before the next annual renewal.
